Mrs. Jarratt, why do you call this blog "Wet Cement"?

Great Question!  I call this blog "Wet Cement" because there is a quote that says:

"Children are like wet cement.  Whatever falls on them leaves an impression" -- Haim Ginnot

I wanted to title my blog this to remind me to make every interaction with my students positive and productive.
