Web 2.0 Applications

Application 1: The Glogster was really fun and I think will be a great addition to my blog. Many of our students do not have access to technology and this will be a fun way to incorporate different tools on the web for the students to experience. Application 2: Delicious..... not so much. I didn't enjoy this at all. I get the point, but it was a HUGE pain. The buttons are still not working for me and this was the least useful of all the tasks in this class. https://delicious.com/#audrajarratt Application 3: Google Docs are used quite a bit on my campus. We use them to track student tardies and dress code violations. This is the first I independently created. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G8qMNONF2VbQdjzF-Jp-8guHFthYht7iHq5W-Tqw5wY/edit?usp=sharing Application 4: PINTEREST!!! My breath of fresh air in this assignment!!!! WAHOO!! I know plenty about this and use it daily! Here are the links to my Pinterest Boards for Education!!!

Application 5: The idea of Wikis is new to me -- but, I have to say it's very interesting. I look forward to utilizing this with the staff as well as the students. So many times we are trying to collaborate on a project or idea and all have different plan times or scheduling conflicts. This works! So.... here is the link to my WIKI

I think this would be a neat writing project to do with my students...... we are very limited with technology, but I'd like to think I could make it work somehow.
Application 6: Digital Story Telling. This was a blast and I think I have lots of uses for this. The kids will LOVE it!

Make your own photo slideshow at Animoto.

Application 7: My own creation! I loved doing this! It was my own little "giggle" of the project.... and reminds me of a conversation I actually had. I may use this on inservice week as an ice breaker with the staff on a new initiative I am launching. Brainstorm by audra.jarratt on GoAnimate

  1. I love the bright and cheery feel of your blog. I also love the title 'Wet Cement'. It is unique and profound. BTW, I want to know if you had to pay $355 for GoAnimate. I love it, but when I finished it wouldn't let me embed with a free account.
